As parents, we want nothing more than for our children to be happy and successful in life. But unfortunately, negative experiences are inevitable. It’s important to remember that these experiences can actually be beneficial for our children if we help them attach positive emotions to them. Here’s how you can do that.
TALK ABOUT THE GOOD THAT CAME OUT OF THE SITUATION.
For example, if your child didn’t get chosen for a team he wanted to be on, you could point out that it gives him more time to focus on his other hobbies or spend time with family.

MODEL POSITIVE BEHAVIOR YOURSELF.
